Strategic addition to strengthen cooperative ecosystem and fuel innovative growth

Columbia, SC and Raleigh, NC — Carrick Professionals, the for-profit affiliate of the Carolinas Credit Union League, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Lee to its Board of Directors. Lee currently serves as the president and CEO of REV Federal Credit Union, a $1.2 billion financial institution headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina.

Lee’s appointment follows a distinguished career spanning nearly 25 years in the credit union industry. Since joining REV, he has led the organization’s vision and strategic direction, embodying the mission of “Growth with Purpose” and a commitment to putting people over profit.

“During his tenure at REV, Jason has engaged in a full rebrand of the organization and doubled REV’s assets,” said Carrick Professionals Chairman Dan Schline. “He’s expanded the credit union’s footprint into North Carolina and West Virginia, implemented the REVtech roadmap, stood up a foundation, and doubled down on REV’s commitment to social responsibility.”

“From what I’ve seen, Jason doesn’t like to sit still. He’s helped REV grow and evolve and he thinks strategically. Each of our board members has shown great commitment to helping Carrick Professionals think about new and innovative ways to drive revenue and support the League. I believe Jason will fit in well.”

Under Lee’s leadership, REV has secured numerous accolades, including the Charleston Metro Chamber’s Business of the Year and first place in the Post & Courier’s Charleston’s Choice Awards for Best Credit Union for five consecutive years.

His strategic initiatives have also delivered significant regional impact. A 2025 Economic Impact Study performed by the University of South Carolina found that REV generated more than $4.3 billion in economic impact and supported the creation of 32,000 jobs.

“I’m honored to join Carrick Professionals as the newest member of the Board of Directors,” Lee said. “Supporting and strengthening the cooperative ecosystem has always been important to me. I look forward to applying my experience and passion for strategy to work alongside other exceptional leaders to further the organization’s mission.”

Beyond his executive leadership at REV, Lee serves on the Allied Solutions Advisory Council and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Charleston Regional Development Alliance. He previously served on the CFPB’s Credit Union Advisory Council and chaired the Payment and Deposits Committee.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Memphis.
